Watercolor Reflection Jan 27th 2012
1. What are the good/strong parts of your paintings? What is done well?
I feel my good part of my painting is the color choices, because it makes my painting stand out and gives the feel of what I'am tring to get across. I feel I did well on the text on my paintings because its very difficult to write with a paint brush espeacaily(spelling?) with watercolors.
2. What do you think you could have done better on this project?
I feel I could have took more time on dealing my paintings.
3. Describe the attributes of your unity: What are the things that tie all 3 painting together? How?
I think the three things that tie my paintings together is the colors, they are bright.
4. Describe that color choices for each of your paintings: What colors did you choose and why? What families are used (warm, cool, primary, ect.)?
I choose bright colors (such as, a warm red, light yellow, bright green, different shades of blue, ect.) to embrace the qoute that expresses myself.
5. What do you conclude about watercolor painting technique? Why?
I feel my technigues are not the same, one paintings dripping, and the other ones just being blended together.
6. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in gerneral? Why?
I learned that i should just take my time and don't freak out when something doesn't work out as planed. Lessons for life in gerneral would be that, sometimes its best to be patient and slowly work things out. This could help me when I'm in a stressful stituation.
7. Evaluate on the meaning of your paintings: Why did you create them the way you did? Was it planned? What is by chance? Elaborate!
I created my paintings in a way that expressed the meaning of my past, present, and future. My paintins were not planned out, I just went for it.
